Precautions for LED light installation
Now, whether it is the decoration design of KTV, bars, nightclubs and other night venues, or the design of some supermarkets and doorways, it is inseparable from LED lighting. LED has penetrated into our life and added infinite style to our city. The following are some precautions for LED installation in stage lighting design.
Precautions against static electricity
①Operators must wear grounded anti-static wrist, anti-static shoes and anti-static clothes.
②If the LED is damaged by static electricity, it will show some bad characteristics: the leakage current increases, the static forward voltage decreases or rises, and the stage light does not light up or glows abnormally under the low current test.
③All equipment and instruments in contact with LED must be well grounded, and the soldering iron and tin furnace for special welding must be well grounded.
④The anti-static wrist must be tested every day, and the unqualified wrist must be replaced.
Pin forming method
①The forming of the support must be completed by clamps or professionals.
②The forming of the bracket shall ensure that the pins and spacing are consistent with those on the circuit board.
③It is necessary to be 2mm away from the colloid before bending the support, so as not to cause the colloid to crack or damage the internal structure.
④The support forming must be completed before welding.
Use current
①High current will cause the LED lamp to burn out or the brightness to decay.
②As the LED has the characteristics that the current increases rapidly with a slight increase in voltage.
③When in use, a resistor should be added in series with the LED lamp to limit the current.
④The LED should work under the same current conditions. Generally, it is recommended that the current through the LED is 15-19ma.
Led welding conditions
①Soldering iron welding: the tip temperature of soldering iron (maximum 30W) shall not exceed 300 ℃; The welding time shall not exceed 3 seconds; The welding time shall not exceed 3 seconds; The welding position shall be at least 3mm away from the colloid.
②immersion welding: the maximum temperature of immersion welding is 260 ℃; The immersion welding time shall not exceed 5 seconds; The immersion welding position shall be at least 2mm away from the colloid.
Brightness test and product instructions
①When using light and color separation products, please classify and use them according to the order of bin numbers. Do not mix LEDs with different bin numbers in the same product to avoid differences in color, brightness and voltage. If you want to mix bin numbers, adjacent bin numbers can be put together, but try to avoid.
②When detecting and using LEDs, each LED must be provided with the same current, that is, constant current detection, in order to ensure consistent detection brightness. The current should not exceed 20mA, and it is best to use 15-19ma current.
Led installation method
①Be sure not to install the LED when the pin is deformed.
②When installing led, it is recommended to use guide sleeve for positioning.
③Pay attention to the arrangement of external lines of various devices to prevent wrong polarity installation. The device should not be too close to the heating element.
④When deciding to install in the hole, calculate the size and tolerance of the hole distance on the good face and the circuit board to avoid excessive pressure on the support.
⑤Before the welding temperature returns to normal, you must avoid any vibration or external force on the LED.
Cleaning
Special care must be taken when cleaning the colloid with chemicals, because some chemicals damage the colloid surface and cause discoloration, such as trichloroethylene, acetone, etc. It can be wiped and soaked with ethanol for no more than 3 minutes at room temperature.
